Rebuilding the Steeple
In March 2025, a severe windstorm destroyed the steeple and top half of our bell tower. Shortly after, we launched a three-phase project and fundraising campaign to rebuild the damaged sanctuary.
Phase 1: Re-roof the Building [COMPLETE]
In addition to repairing the damage to the roof and to several rafters, we have completed the re-roofing of the entire building with upgraded shingles.
Phase 2: Rebuild the Steeple
The next, and most visible phase of the project is rebuilding the destroyed steeple. This will entail construction of the top half of the tower and remediation of stress damage to the bottom half of the tower, the vestibule and the sanctuary.
Phase 3: Landscaping and new siding
The final phase will replace mismatched siding around the building with consistent and weatherproof material, revisit existing insulation needs, and ensure future waterproofing of the building. We will also restore and improve the landscaping and grounds to showcase our welcoming congregation!
