Worship Ministries

Worship at the Gerlaw Christian Church uses the gifts and talents of many people! We welcome anyone who sings, plays instruments, or is willing to commit to becoming an Elder or Deacon and assisting in the Sunday worship. There are opportunities for everyone to share their many gifts to glorify God! If you have an idea or talent to share, we're always open to new ways to praise the Lord!
Education and Faith Formation
"Until I come, devote yourself to the public reading of Scripture, to exhortation, to teaching."

We off many opportunities for children and adults to learn and grow in their faith. From regular Sunday School for young and old, to Bible studies and classes, the Gerlaw Christian Church has options for wherever you are in your faith life -- come and join us!
Outreach Ministries
"Is not this the fast that I choose: to loose the bonds of injustice, to undo the straps of the yoke, to let the oppressed go free, and to break every yoke? Is it not to share your bread with the hungry and bring the homeless poor into your house; when you see the naked, to cover them and not to hide yourself from your own kin?"

Part of our mission as a local church is to serve the many needs of our congregation and wider community. There are many ways you can contribute to building the Kingdom of God right here in central Illinois! From providing food and household necessities to visiting those faithful who cannot attend worship services in person, the Gerlaw Christian Church tries to answer the biblical invitation to love all our neighbors as we love ourselves.
